Hi, I’m Maggie Redmon…
some of You may know me as Kathleen mcGuire.
Maggie Redmon is a four-time finalist for the William Faulkner-William Wisdom Creative Nonfiction Prize, most recently in 2020. Her essays have appeared in Reed magazine, the Briar Cliff Review, Athens magazine, and the Sycamore Review, where she was a double finalist for the Wabash Prize for Nonfiction. Maggie’s first book, Trials of a Dead Lawyer’s Wife: A True Story, received Honorable Mention in the Memoir Category for the 2022 Eric Hoffer Book Award. In addition to a career as a disability adjudicator and professional counselor, she spent ten years as a civil court mediator. A native Georgian, she now lives and writes on the Georgia coast.
